I spent today home in bed struck down by a dreaded man cold. There was one fuzzy person who didn’t mind putting up with my coughing fits and pitiful moans.

Our ever patient dog relaxing once the boys had been put to bed. Once the only child of the house, she now plays the role of running buddy, food vacuum, and horse.
#24 – doghouse
I was watching this dog running around the park this morning while its owner had lunch. When he finished his meal, half of which he shared with his canine companion, he walked the dog over to his truck. The dog dutifully leapt into its cage and lay down while the owner went to work, gardening in the park.
On closer inspection of the truck I noticed it was carrying all of the man’s possessions. A swag strapped to the back, a bicycle attached to the roof, and most importantly a bed for his furry friend.
This man had everything he needed in one small, portable package – able to go where the work is available and wherever he wanted to be. Smart fella.
