about

I started this blog at the beginning of 2012 as an incentive for me to undertake a 365 project – one photo a day for a year. Work and other commitments had kept me from regularly picking up a camera prior to this so I hoped this would be a way to get back into the photo taking groove. I was dubious that I’d keep it up past the one week mark, hence the title.

This year I’m trying my hand at predominantly shooting film. Armed with a couple of film cameras, a cheap scanner, and lots of second hand film I’ll be trying to keep to a mostly analogue process. I won’t be shooting nearly as frequently as during the 365 project and delays on uploading images will be long due to having to wait to finish shooting a roll and then waiting for it to be developed. Despite this, I hope to pick up some good habits by slowing the picture taking process down and being more selective with shots.

You can also find me at 500px.com where I’ll be posting a selection of images.

Thanks for stopping by.
